Pene's grandmother

My wife's grandmother, the last surviving grandparent, has passed away at age 89. She's had a good, full life on the Island, and I remember meeting her for the first time during our 2003 trip to P.E.I. and the East Coast. Spent her entire life on the Island - don't think she's ever even been out of the province once.

We're trying to figure out a way for Pene to be able to get down to P.E.I. but not sure how we're going to work it as the price of a last-minute flight and the logistics of getting around (i.e. Pene isn't the most comfortable person around when it comes to driving around in a car on her own in a 'strange' place). Relatives will be in and out, plus there's very limited space for her to stay. Looks like she might not be able to get down to the funeral, which would be a pity.

Sad news Pepe, give Pene a hug from me.

Hope she can make it, however these days we do tend to move around a lot more than people used to, which does make things like this a lot harder.

I'm very sorry to hear about her grandmother.
