Countdown to big things at work...

39.5 hours left until I find out what kind of big changes are going to happen at work.

I already got an inkling that I'll be taking over as program coordinator for our department while the main guy is gone on P.D. leave for 1-2 years. It's anyone's guess just what that means in terms of extras or how the rest of the profs in my dept will be affected by all this, so we've got a team meeting scheduled with the Big Guy for Monday afternoon to see how everything shakes down.

Gonna be a fun time trying to speculate how things will go and to come up with ideas of my own to get things started. Either way, it'll be a big step for my career.
